Yacine Diallo discusses Luxembourg holding structures on Le Family Office podcast

min read

Yacine Diallo, Tax Partner and Head of our Luxembourg office, recently joined Lucien Roy on the Le Family Office podcast to discuss the role of Luxembourg holding structures in international wealth planning.

During the episode, Yacine explores when a Luxembourg holding company can be an effective vehicle for internationally mobile families, the key differences between structures such as SOPARFIs and SPFs, and the practical considerations involved in establishing and maintaining a Luxembourg entity. He also discusses the importance of economic substance, tax considerations and the circumstances in which Luxembourg may – or may not – be the right solution for holding family wealth.

The discussion provides valuable insights for family offices, private clients and advisers seeking to navigate cross-border wealth structuring and long-term asset holding strategies.

Listen to the full episode: “La holding au Luxembourg : SOPARFI, mère-fille et substance” on Le Family Office, available on Youtube (with captions available in multiple languages), Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
