Sophie Dworetzsky, Partner in our Private Client team, speaks to Michael Bow, Business Correspondent at The Telegraph about plans to scrap non-dom tax status.

Despite the backlash, there is little sign of the Government reversing course. In fact, the non-dom crackdown looks more likely to intensify.

The Treasury is planning to demolish the regime next April in a switch it hopes will generate at least £2.7bn per year for the UK.

Sophie who advises high net worth individuals, says many of her clients feel “betrayed” by Labour’s proposals.
