The Telegraph quotes Tristram van Lawick on the strength of the country estate market

Alexandra Goss writes a feature for the Telegraph and the London Magazine on the country estate market and quotes Tristram van Lawick, Partner in our Private Property team.

The consensus is that the country house market has shifted from the pandemic days of sealed bids and gazumping on middle-of-nowhere homes to a more measured market where buyers are prioritising transport links, good schools and amenities.

Tristram van Lawick, Partner, says:

The country estate market continues to be strong [but] sales are going through 'under the radar'. 

We've completed on the sale of a couple in the last month and have around half a dozen coming to the market over the next two months, considerably more than last year.
