Hubbis interviews Jeffrey Lee on the growth of our Singapore office

One year on from the opening of our Singapore office, Jeffrey Lee, Partner and Head of the office, speaks to Hubbis on its growth post launch.

Commenting on why we initially opened an office in Singapore, Jeffrey says:

Singapore was a natural choice and definitely plays to our core areas of expertise, including high-end wealth management structuring and advisory.

Within Asia, it was a very natural step to build a significant operation here to complement and also, to some extent, offset our Hong Kong hub for North Asia.

In terms of office growth, Jeffrey references the addition of our new international tax team headed by Kurt Rademacher and Ivan Lu.

He adds:

They are all US-qualified attorneys and provide US legal advice to clients based in APAC who have business or personal interests or interaction with the US and need integrated, locally sourced advice on the applicable tax considerations
