Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI) interviews Sophie Dworetzsky on the UK non-dom tax changes and the appeal of Switzerland

Sophie Dworetzsky, Private Client Partner, was interviewed by Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI) on the UK's abolition of the non-dom regime.

This change, set for April, could see a number of UK based non-doms considering relocation. For UK non-doms and their advisors, this is a crucial time for strategic planning in light of future lifestyle, business, and family objectives.

Countries like Dubai, Italy and Switzerland see an opportunity to attract wealthy non-doms with the promise of lower taxes and incentives.

Speaking outside an event hosted by the City of Lugano and organised by the BSCC, Sophie says Switzerland could represent an alternative but she flags that taxes are not the only factor.

There is no tax regime capable of responding to everyone's needs.
