Mark Hill quoted in The Times on the Ed Sheeran High Court copyright case win

Following the recent High Court ruling on the Ed Sheeran copyright case, songwriters will no longer have to go to extreme lengths to avoid actions for alleged copyright infringement.

Mark Hill, Partner, is quoted in The Times on how the online world has impacted copyright claims.

The online world, “has changed not only the game but also the rules or lack of them”. Part of the game today, he says, is knowing how to deal with genuine, provable claims, but also those just pressing for an out-of-court settlement.

Mark's comments were first published in The Times (subscription required).
