We are pleased to be hosting an interactive session with Sam Smith, co‑founder of The SuperScalers and former CEO of finnCap Group plc, focused on the practical realities of scaling a business.
Best known as the founding CEO of finnCap - the first female-led stockbroking firm in the City - Sam led the business from startup to a £50m+ investment bank, supporting hundreds of growth companies along their scale and exit journeys. With The SuperScalers, Sam is now on a mission to help underrepresented female founders grow from £1m+ revenue to £50m+ and is shifting the narrative of who gets to “build big”.
Drawing on extensive experience working with founders and leadership teams, Sam will share 3 of her 12 hacks for scaling sustainably, covering what really matters as businesses move from early traction to growth. The discussion will also explore common challenges faced by female founders and the importance of inclusivity and belonging.
This session is designed for female founders, as well as advisers who work closely with growth businesses, to help de-mystify how to build.
