Shaping the Future of In-House Legal Teams in the Built Environment Sector

Event Details

When When

The In-House Counsel Assembly (in partnership with CTBUH): "From Sketch to Skyline - Major Projects - One Delisle - The Multifaceted Role of the In-House Function".

Our 2025/2026 In-House Counsel Assembly programme, developed in collaboration with the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) - a nonprofit organisation with a global network of over a million professionals dedicated to fostering knowledge exchange on the future of cities and urban habitats worldwide.

Our inaugural session, took place at the Multiplex Headquarters in Toronto on 6 October, the first day of the CTBUH International Annual Conference. This session was both in-person and live-streamed, and focused on the Assembly’s purpose and principles, as well as aligning with the conference theme, ‘From the Ground Up’. We explored the role and value of a General Counsel and in-house lawyer throughout the full life cycle of a major construction and development project.

We were delighted to have Andrew Salvador, Director of Legal at Multiplex, Canada, join us to discuss his involvement in the construction of Toronto’s anticipated new landmark, One Delisle, a uniquely designed 44-storey condominium development.
