Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Recruitment: Navigating the Employment Law Landscape

The Employment Law team at Charles Russell Speechlys is delighted to invite you to the launch of our new Breakfast Club series, designed to explore the most pressing HR issues facing employers and to facilitate networking amongst fellow professionals.

Chaired by Charles Russell Speechlys' Partner Ben Smith, join us for an insightful session where we will be joined by guest speaker Dee Masters, a barrister at Cloisters Chambers and a leading practitioner in the technology and employment law space. Dee will provide us with expert perspectives on the challenges presented by AI in recruitment, including:

  • Discrimination risks and bias in AI tools
  • How AI can perpetuate or mitigate bias in recruitment processes
  • Legal liability for discriminatory outcomes produced by AI systems
  • Case studies and recent developments
  • Fairness and transparency in automated recruitment
  • Practical steps for employers

This event is tailored for in-house lawyers, HR professionals and anyone else involved in employment law matters. We kindly ask for your prompt RSVP to confirm your place, as spaces at this event are limited.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be an engaging and informative discussion, with an opportunity for networking and questions.
