LIDW: Liability imposed on UK Directors and how to mitigate the risks

Claudine Morgan and James Hyne are joined by Adam Stephens from Evelyn and Stuart Hornett KC from Selborne Chambers.

The panel will discuss the position of executive directors and non executive directors, an outline of the various claims that can be brought against them, and by whom, as well as how directors in the UK should behave, and actions they can take to mitigate against liability and the risk of claims against them. The session will start with a brief presentation by each of the panel members on the topics, and then the floor will be open for an interactive question and answer session.

Common trends and developments of recent case updates will also be discussed, followed by an interactive Q&A session with attendees.

Date/time: 5 June 2024 / 8:30 – 10:30am
