Retail Showcase 2025: Overview and video highlights

This Spring, Charles Russell Speechlys welcomed guests from the Retail and Food & Beverage sectors to our ‘Retail Showcase 2025’. The event served as a great opportunity for retailers of all sizes - from emerging startups to more established brands - to showcase their range of products, as well as bringing together clients and guests for a night of fun and interesting discussion.

Exhibitors were able to make the most of the platform to promote their brands, by bringing along products and samples which were greatly enjoyed. They also had the opportunity to meet with potential investor attendees, to learn from one another by sharing insights, including on confronting the challenges facing the retail industry, and planning ahead for the future.

We have put together a short recap with highlights on the night which can be found in the video below.

Alex Wright, CEO & Co-founder of Dash Water, participated in a Q&A session where he shared interesting insights about the importance of knowing how a brand is performing financially, securing your IP at the outset, and how critical it is to focus on the customer.

As part of our emphasis on sustainability, we were also pleased to be joined by our charity partner Emmaus - a UK based charity that works to help people faced with homelessness through local community initiatives. This is part of our Community Investment programme; working with our charity partners who are active in local communities helping to improve social mobility from within. More information on the Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation can be found here.

Thank you to all the exhibitors and guests who made this a memorable event. If you would like to learn more about our Retail practice at Charles Russell Speechlys, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
