2024 Real Estate & Construction Deal Highlights

2024 was another banner year for the Charles Russell Speechlys Real Estate and Construction team. We were able to support you, our clients, across an incredible range of matters, leveraging our size, breadth of experience and international reach to deliver timely, commercial results whilst retaining the personal touch that we know you value. Please click here for the deal sheet including this year's highlights.

In a year of significant global change, we found that our Private Capital clients in particular were more than ever looking for an advisory team that balanced a long term view with the ability to react quickly to events. You have had to consider both national level economic factors, at least two UK budgets based on very different philosophies and significant global economic pressures in a year of multiple elections and conflict across the world.

Below is a selection of some of the work we carried out in 2024 - it gives a good insight into the variety of our work over the last 12 months. We are delighted to have supported our long-term clients on their real estate business needs, including Habro on several of their Central London property acquisitions, and David Lloyd on the purchase and forward funding of their new site in Bury St Edmunds

Our Construction team executed an exciting building contract with Pirbright Innovations Limited for the development of their new Centre for Veterinary Vaccine Innovation and Manufacturing, and our Real Estate Disputes team has been busy with claims for the University of Surrey and with a larger claim for The Meyrick Estate in Bournemouth.

We look forward to continuing to support all of you, our clients, on your personal and business interests in 2025.
