The CMA has issued a fine for failure to respond to an information request in its market study into online platforms and digital advertising. The fine of £20,000 was imposed on AppNexus Europe Limited for a failure to respond without reasonable excuse. Click here.
CMA fines Fender £4.5m for preventing price discounts by retailers
The CMA has fined Fender Europe £4.5 million for preventing retailers from discounting their online prices for its guitars. The fine amount was discounted by 60% under the CMA’s leniency programme and by a further 20% to reflect settlement. Click here.
