Court of Appeal rules CMA not liable for costs 

The Court of Appeal has handed down a judgment ruling that the starting point for costs is that no order should be made against the CMA where it has brought or defended proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal acting purely in its regulatory capacity. Click here.

Advocate General considers Paramount pay-TV commitments breached principle of proportionality

An Advocate General’s opinion has concluded that Paramount’s pay-TV commitments breached the principle of proportionality, as the Commission did not take appropriate account of the interests of third parties. Click here.
