European Commission approves Assa Abloy's acquisition of Agta Record subject to conditions

The European Commission has approved the proposed acquisition of Agta Record by Assa Abloy subject to conditions. The Commission had concerns that the proposed transaction would have significantly reduced competition in the supply of different types of automatic pedestrian doors in various Member States, including Austria, Czechia, Finland, France, Hungary, Iceland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and the United Kingdom, and the supply of industrial high-speed doors in France. CMA fines suppliers of nortriptyline £3.4 million

The CMA has imposed fines of £3.4 million on suppliers of nortriptyline, a drug used to relieve symptoms of depression. The suppliers have also agreed to make a payment of £1 million directly to the NHS and one of the company’s directors has been disqualified. Click here.
