    Family Mediation video series

The benefits of mediation

In this first part of our mediation series, Sarah Anticoni and James Riby discuss the benefits of mediation, including the flexibility of sessions which allow other relevant parties to enter the discussion, such as psychological, financial experts etc., which otherwise may be difficult to introduce to the court process.

Sarah, comments on how useful mediation is both to the court and parties involved, if they are comfortable to have discussions away from the court.

This video answers the following questions:

  • When should mediation be considered?
  • Who are suitable candidates for mediation?
  • In what circumstances should mediation be avoided?
