Megan Newbury, Client Services Executive

Since joining the Firm in September 2023 as a Client Services Administrator in Private Client, I have developed strong working relationships with colleagues and been able to experience the impact that our work has on our clients. I had no previous experience of working in a large office and had only worked in small teams in previous jobs. This provided a welcome change, and I have enjoyed working as part of a large team.

In December 2024, I was successful in being promoted into a Client Services Executive role in Probate. The support I have had from lawyers, the Learning Team, CSE Leads and colleagues has been fantastic. I attended many virtual sessions, hosted by the Learning Team, that provided foundation knowledge to build upon in the transition. Being hard of hearing and having multiple physical disabilities, I have experienced the lack of disability inclusion in previous employment, however, the Health & Safety Team and HR department at Charles Russell Speechlys have provided exceptional support, in terms of equipment to make my job accessible and have listened to my needs to make my day-to-day easier.

I continue to enjoy my time at Charles Russell Speechlys and would recommend the Firm to those looking for a start in their career or a change in occupation as somewhere that will support progression and encourage success.
