Deciding which law firm is right for you is not always easy. Our Placement Scheme will help you to feel fully informed and experience our culture for yourself.

Our UK Placement Scheme provides a chance to spend time with us and see exactly what we do on a daily basis.

You’ll spend one week in our London, Cheltenham or Guildford office depending on which Placement Scheme you apply for. You will need to select one office to apply for. Each week is spent in a different practice area where you will carry out real fee-earning work that could include attending client meetings and going to court.

Support is always close at hand, with a current trainee as a buddy and an associate as a supervisor for each placement. You’ll also meet a variety of people across the Firm, either at organised social events or as part of your day-to-day interactions, and this will give you a real insight into the culture of the Firm.

During your time with us you’ll be automatically considered for a Training Contract and will take part in an assessment centre which will be reviewed along with your performance during the Placement Scheme.

All our placement schemes are paid at £518 per week in London, and £471 per week in Cheltenham and Guildford.

Please note, we are unable to offer ad-hoc work experience or individual internships in any of our offices (both across the UK and internationally). All work experience opportunities are made by submitting an application to our advertised opportunities on our Early Talent website.

Please note, to be eligible, you’ll need to be in your penultimate or final year of a law degree, final year of a non-law degree, or have already graduated.
