    Disability Confident Scheme

We are a Disability Confident Committed employer

The Disability Confident Scheme is a voluntary UK Government framework that supports employers to recruit, retain and develop disabled people. By joining the Scheme, we have committed to strengthening disability inclusion across recruitment, development, retention and workplace culture.

Enabling disabled colleagues and candidates to contribute fully supports diversity of thought, innovation and delivers commercial outcomes for our clients.

To learn more about how we are building an inclusive culture, visit our Disability & Neurodiversity page.

‘Offer an Interview’ commitment

As part of our commitment, we encourage disabled candidates to apply for roles with us and seek to ensure all candidates have a fair opportunity to demonstrate their skills, experience and potential by removing barriers that may prevent disabled candidates from accessing opportunities. One way we put this into practice is the ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment for our Early Talent roles.

The ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment is designed to help remove barriers in recruitment by ensuring that a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants who have applied under the scheme, and who best meet the essential criteria for the role, are given the opportunity to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process. This gives candidates the chance to demonstrate their skills, experience and potential directly as part of an inclusive recruitment process.

Being offered a video interview under this commitment does not guarantee a place on a vacation scheme or assessment centre to secure a training contract or apprenticeship. It simply ensures that those who best meet the essential criteria are given the chance to demonstrate their motivations and skills at the next stage of the process.

How do I apply under the ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment?

  • If you choose to be considered for any Early Talent roles or programmes under our ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment, tick a box in our application form under the ‘Supplementary Questions’ section to indicate this.
  • We will review your application against the essential criteria for the application stage, as set out under 'Essential Criteria' below.
  • If your application shows that you best meet those essential criteria compared with others applying under the scheme, you will progress to the next stage.
  • We will make reasonable adjustments to support you during the recruitment process, where requested.

Who can apply under the ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment?

You can apply under the ‘Offer an Interview’ commitment if you are disabled, as defined under the Equality Act 2010 as “someone who has a mental or physical impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on the person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities”.
