The Charles Russell Speechlys Cheltenham office is a unique offering for those candidates who want city-type legal work – high quality and complex that can include local, national and international clients – in a fantastic location.

We have a vacancy for an agricultural, rural and residential Property Associate (1-4 PQE) specialising in non-contentious property matters.  The team deal with landed estates looking after the diverse needs of land owning clients, be they private individuals; trusts; charities; or corporate bodies. By the very nature of a landed estate or farm - being both a private home and a business asset - the range of work that the team deals with is broad, covering both day-to-day management advice as well as transactional work.

The team in Cheltenham, which also incorporates our Private Property team, has extensive market leading expertise in advising individuals, trustees, families and charities in relation to their private affairs.

We are experienced in handling a full range of work for our private clients whilst adding our particular expertise in many specialist areas:-

The ideal candidate will be a good quality generalist residential property lawyer with some experience of rural properties, looking to develop their career in a friendly, collegiate team. With the ability to develop effective working relations at all levels – as our clients are diverse and include nobility and celebrities – organisation and the capability to run a significant number of files and work matters simultaneously is key.

With over 100 staff within Cheltenham, we work closely with our colleagues in London and Guildford as well as our international offices.
