Our Luxembourg office concentrates on middle market and large corporate clients operating internationally, investment funds, private equity houses, large family offices, banks and other financial institutions, and specializes in tax planning, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

We have an attractive opportunity for a junior associate to join our Corporate & Capital Markets practice in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on corporate, M&A and transactional matters.
Role and Responsibilities
· Supporting the team on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, financings and related due diligence work.
· Assisting associates, senior lawyers and partners with the preparation and review of corporate documentation, transaction documents, legal research and client deliverables.
· Contributing to matters involving corporate governance, shareholders’ arrangements, private equity, venture capital and other corporate advisory work.
· Developing a practical understanding of transaction management, including signing and closing processes, conditions precedent, corporate approvals and post-closing matters.
· Working closely with colleagues across the Luxembourg office, other practice areas and international offices of the Firm.
· Building increasing autonomy in the day-to-day handling of files, while working under the supervision of associates, senior lawyers and partners.
· Supporting the team in maintaining responsive, accurate and high-quality client service.
Person Specification
· You hold a law degree, ideally with training in Luxembourg law or an equivalent legal background.
· You have 1 to 3 years’ relevant experience, ideally gained within a law firm or in a corporate, M&A or transactional environment.
· You are rigorous, reliable and attentive to detail, with the ability to produce accurate work to a high standard.
· You are hardworking, organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines with appropriate support.
· You have a genuine interest in corporate law, M&A and transactional work, and are keen to develop your technical and practical skills in these areas.
· You are a team player, willing to learn, ask questions and take increasing ownership of your work as your experience develops.
· You are comfortable working in both English and French; additional languages are an advantage.
