Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan outlines our approach to mental health and wellbeing to date and how we plan to develop it in the future.
A key element of our approach is our team of trained Mental Health First Aiders and Champions who are located at different levels throughout the Firm. They are available to offer initial support through non-judgmental listening and can also guide individuals towards additional support if needed.
Our initiatives
- Marking Mental Health Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day with campaigns and activities to promote greater openness around mental health and wellbeing, provide opportunities for information sharing and awareness raising, and promote our suite of support. A key element of how we mark it is through running the Green Ribbon appeal
- Regular webinars/ speaker sessions on topics around mental health and wellbeing, such as anxiety and resilience
- Offering a suite of resources for support, including EAPs, private medical insurance and virtual GP. We also have guidance on how to have conversations on mental health
- Running wellbeing activities throughout the calendar year
- This is Me campaign – over the years we have produced videos of colleagues and Partners powerfully sharing their stories of experiences with mental health, both directly and indirectly, in the hope of engaging and empowering others to look after their own mental health and seek support where required
- Signatories of the Mindful Business Charter
- Corporate membership of WorkLife Central which provides resources on inclusion, wellbeing, careers and parenting and caring
- Reverse mentoring programme to help our Firm to foster an inclusive culture by creating opportunities for people to share different perspectives, lived experiences and knowledge
