    Mental Health and Wellbeing

The mental health and wellbeing of our employees is an important commitment for us.

Our mental health is very important and should be regarded in the same way as our physical health. Therefore, we aim to equip our employees with a variety of resources and support.

Some of our initiatives include:

  • We have trained over 90 mental health champions from across the Firm (including all trainee solicitor supervisors) and 11 mental health first aiders from our HR Team and our Health & Safety Officer
  • In May 2020 we launched the Thrive Mental Wellbeing App where employees can access the Firm’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Each year we mark Mental Health Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day with campaigns which have involved the sharing of personal stories by Partners and staff, where they have been directly or indirectly affected by mental health issues, videos of our colleagues sharing how they maintain good mental wellbeing and the launch of our own guide, on how to have a conversation on mental health. The purpose of the campaigns have been to encourage more conversation around the office on mental health to help reduce/eliminate any stigma.
  • Run annual wellbeing weeks which include wellbeing initiatives and activities to cover financial, social, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing needs.
