Sara is a specialist construction lawyer, experienced in both transactional matters and advising on disputes in respect of a broad range of construction and infrastructure projects.

About

Sara advises employers, contractors, engineers and subcontractors on all aspects of contract negotiation and has experience on a wide range of construction documentation, including domestic and international standard forms of construction contracts.

Sara is experienced in advising on complex and technical disputes in relation to projects both in the UK and internationally. She advises on all forms of dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, litigation and adjudication.

Sara is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

  • Advising a major contractor in ICC arbitration proceedings in relation to a dispute in excess of $70 million in relation to an infrastructure project in the middle east. 

  • Advising an engineer on a dispute relating to an waste to energy project, including enforcement proceedings in the High Court.

  • Advising a leading property developer in relation to multiple disputes concerning fire safety and cladding related matters.

  • Advising a specialist contractor in High Court proceedings in relation to defects in the glass cladding of a building in the City of London.
