James has experience in a range of real estate areas including residential and mixed-use development, acquisitions and disposals as well as in the healthcare sector.

James has worked and continues to work for a number of different clients ranging from national housebuilders, care home providers, high net worth individuals and property developers. James has experience in affordable housing and infrastructure projects and often acts on disposals to affordable housing providers and on the installation of infrastructure at new developments.

James is also a Co-Chair of the LGBTQ+ committee.

James is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

  • Assisting on multiple acquisitions for major housebuilder clients including at prime mixed-use development sites within the Nine Elms regeneration area and Barking Riverside.

  • Co-ordinated the real estate work on a large care home portfolio sale consisting of over 90 homes in a deal worth in excess of over £150 million.

  • Assisting on the property aspects of major corporate acquisitions for care home clients involving external financing.
