Emilie specialises in commercial litigation, advising on disputes for corporate clients, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. Emilie advises on a broad range of commercial disputes including breaches of contract, breaches of warranty and tortious / wrongful acts.

Having worked in both London and Singapore, her work often has an international element and she has experience of arbitration before a number of arbitral institutions globally as well as of High Court litigation and dispute mitigation, resolving disputes through mediation and negotiated settlement.

Having previously gained experience advising on legal issues in the international trade and logistics sector, Emilie has a particular focus on litigation arising in the retail and consumer brands sector (including luxury labels, fashion and beauty brands). Emilie can advise on disputes arising out of corporate transactions, supply chain issues, commercial agreements and the delivery of consumer facing events in these - as well as other - market sectors. 

Emilie is a keen advocate of the firm’s commitment to responsible business initiatives, volunteering for the European Lawyers in Lesvos having previously undertaken a secondment with the charity. Emilie also volunteers for a legal advice centre in London, providing advice on social housing issues to members of the public. 

Emilie is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Experience

  • Acting in High Court litigation concerning multi-million pound breach of warranty claims arising in relation to alleged product supply chains issues following completion of a share purchase agreement. 
  • Advising a logistics provider on issues arising out of a targeted vehicle hijack, culminating in the theft of valuable branded technology products. 
  • Advising on matters arising before global arbitral bodies, for example advising a global equipment supplier engaged in an arbitration arising out of a supply contract entered into in the lead up to the Dubai Expo. 
  • Advising a global construction company on a time sensitive dispute arising out of live issues encountered in an ongoing installation project.
