Chris advises developers and private clients on a range of construction projects and property transactions. Chris also acts for all parts of the construction supply chain in relation to contentious construction matters across all forms of dispute resolution. Chris has particular experience of delay and disruption disputes, defects claims and final account and ‘smash and grab’ adjudications.
Christopher is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

Advising Derwent London in relation to its development at One Soho Place. The scheme will contain 209,000 sq ft of offices, 36,000 sq ft of retail and a 40,000 sq ft theatre;

Advising Howard de Walden Estates Limited on a range of projects including the re-development of its head office at 23 Queen Anne Street and the development of a 29,000 sq ft clinical building comprising consulting rooms and a diagnostic imaging suite.

Advising The All England Lawn Tennis Club in relation to various projects currently being undertaken under its master plan for redeveloping and expanding the venue. Includes advising on the redevelopment of existing structures on the site and creation of new underground facilities for players and VIPs.

Acting for a major London estate in relation to a problematic ongoing project involving delays, flood damage and disputed instructions. Successfully obtained a prohibatory injunction against the main contractor.

Acting for a hotel owner and operator in an adjudication against its main contractor in relation to an ongoing dispute over delays and defects in the contractor’s works to construct a four storey, 24 bedroom extension to a convenience hotel in Leith, Edinburgh.

Advising on a $95M mixed use development in Accra, Ghana incorporating residential, retail and hotel elements. Includes advice on the full suite of construction and security documents, termination of the building contract and related bond litigation.
