Susan advises primarily corporate and not for profit clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
She has significant litigation experience in the Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court, in cases including complex contested dismissal claims, multi-strand discrimination claims, team moves and injunctions, and partnership disputes.
In her non-contentious practice Susan provides practical advice on handling all HR matters including disciplinary procedures and dismissals, grievance investigations and hearings, large scale redundancy and re-structuring programmes, discrimination claims, complex TUPE matters and outsourcing.
She has a particular interest in equality and diversity and advises regulators and other organisations on access and compliance issues.
Susan speaks regularly at internal and external client training programmes and seminars and has spoken to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
She also leads the Employment, Pensions & Immigration team’s relationships with our international partner firms.
Susan is admitted to practise in England and Wales.

- Advising on the outsourcing of public adoption services to a private organisation including all aspects of contract negotiation, indemnification, insurance, TUPE and staff consultation
- Advising a number of bodies including a political party and sports regulator on compliance with the Equality Act 2010
