Kate advises charities and not for profit organisations, with causes which reach right across the sector.
She specialises in charity, commercial and corporate law matters. Kate advises clients on the best constitution or corporate structure to allow charities to achieve their objects, as well as assisting them with their onward operational and regulatory concerns.
Kate is experienced in establishing new charities, as well as advising pre-existing ones on how best to restructure or update their governing documents. This can include obtaining Orders and Schemes from the Charity Commission.
She is also experienced in advising charities on commercial matters, such as those including commercial participators and corporate fundraising.
Kate is a member of the Charity Law Association. She is a charity trustee and previously worked in-house at a large national charity.
Kate is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
