Rachel advises clients on UK tax and English and international trust points.
On the UK side, this involves advising individuals and families in relation to estate and succession planning, planning for incapacity and probate.
On the international side, this includes advice to offshore trustees and advising wealthy individuals. For example, her work may include advising high net worth individuals who are considering a move to the UK and would like to organise their affairs to best advantage.
She provides such clients with pre-arrival tax planning as well as advice on residence and domicile. She can also advise on succession planning and tax efficient asset holding structures, particularly for UK residential property.
She also works closely with trustees and banks advising them on the establishment, administration and management of asset holding structures, in particular, trust formation and administration.
Rachel is admitted to practise in England and Wales and has recently completed her STEP Diploma in Trusts & Estates.
Rachel is currently on secondment to the firm’s Geneva office.
