Vincent advises on a wide range of issues relating to trading, markets and settlement for brokers, dealers, liquidity providers and clearing firms in relation to a wide range of investments including commodities, CFDs, FX and spread betting.
In the more than thirty years he has been involved in the sector, Vincent has developed a deep understanding of the operation and regulation of trading, markets, clearing and settlement. This understanding derives not only from his work as a lawyer but from his hands-on experience working in trading, clearing and investment management.
His long experience has involved him in advising on the structure, governance and operation of businesses active in the sector. He has advised on regulatory breaches, trading disputes, defaults, resolving issues with clients, dealing with investigations, disciplinary proceedings and regulatory enforcement actions.
He also often provides specialist advice on the legal aspects of trading, markets, clearing and settlement to other professional firms.
Additionally he advises hedge funds and hedge fund managers, particularly those with an active trading strategy, on the formation of fund structures, their operation and administration, capital raising and re-structuring.
Vincent is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
