The Data Protection Authority in the Ukraine recently issued a model contract for data transfers from the Ukraine to third countries based on a precedent created by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Ukraine.
The dual language document is similar in many respects to the EU model contracts.
The document is specifically aimed at third countries that have not acceded to Data Protection Convention 108 and therefore in general should not be required if data is going from the Ukraine to the EU.
It should also be noted that the contract only relates to controller to processor relationships.
