General Court dismisses appeals against pay for delay Lundbeck decision

The General Court has upheld the European Commission's Lundbeck decision, which found that a number of pay-for-delay agreements breached EU competition law.  Under such agreements an original pharmaceutical manufacturer pays a generics producer in return for it agreeing not to enter the market.  Click here.

CMA issues provisional findings in relation to the award of the Northern rail franchise to Arriva 

The CMA has issued its provisional findings in relation to its phase 2 investigation into the award of the Northern rail franchise to Arriva, provisionally concluding that there would be a substantial lessening of competition on 4 rail routes and 9 bus routes.  Click here.
