Ladbrokes and Coral request fast track reference to phase 2
The CMA has announced that it has received a request from Ladbrokes and Coral for a fast track reference to phase 2 of their proposed merger. Under the fast track reference procedure, the CMA’s phase 1 investigation timetable is significantly shortened. The fast track procedure was used most recently in the BT/EE merger investigation. General Court upholds appeals against air cargo cartel decision
The General Court has handed down a series of judgments in which it has annulled the European Commission's 2010 decision on the air freight cartel. The Court found that there were a number of inconsistencies in the decision relating to whether the case involved a single continuous infringement or a number of separate infringements. Click here.
