European Commission gives conditional clearance to acquisition of mobile network operator BASE by Liberty Global
Following an in-depth Phase 2 investigation, the European Commission has approved the acquisition of BASE by Liberty Global. The approval is conditional on the implementation of commitments which are intended to ensure that a new mobile virtual network operator will enter the Belgian retail mobile market. Click here.
The CMA has announced that Clariant’s anticipated acquisition of Kilfrost’s de-icing fluids business will be referred for an in-depth phase 2 merger investigation by the CMA, unless suitable undertakings in lieu of a reference are offered. Click here.
