Our team has extensive experience of advising clients in large scale, complex and high value commercial and contractual disputes.
When a dispute seems unavoidable, it is worth seeking expert advice before positions become entrenched and relationships completely breakdown.
At Charles Russell Speechlys, we are committed to managing and resolving disputes as swiftly and efficiently as possible and we are able to provide tailored, commercial and pragmatic advice.
Where applicable, this can be in relation both to the immediate steps to be taken and the strategic approach to be adopted with a view to optimising our clients’ position. This may involve litigation or arbitration, but equally we may work to resolve your dispute through negotiation, mediation or some other form of alternative dispute resolution.
Where legal proceedings are commenced, our team has extensive and ranked experience in successfully pursuing a matter through to trial.
The Charles Russell Speechlys team acts for multi-national companies, major UK companies, governments, regulatory bodies and high net worth individuals resolving complex, often multi-jurisdictional, high-value commercial and contractual disputes. A large proportion of our work involves international and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
Where English Law is not applicable, we call upon members of our trusted network of international law firms. This could involve simply working alongside lawyers to obtain local law advice, or managing a local firm who are representing clients in litigation in a foreign jurisdiction.
