Protective Measures

We have extensive experience of advising on all aspects of wealth protection, including cohabitation agreements and pre and post nuptial agreements, for clients in all circumstances, often with complex financial and/or international elements.

We have strategic links with many foreign lawyers and a number of our partners are members of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). We can provide in-house advice on tax, corporate issues, immigration, property and Wills and estate planning if needed.

The leading Supreme Court case of Radmacher v Granatino has changed the law on the enforceability of pre and post nuptial agreements and we are at the forefront of specialist practitioners working in this area. We understand that there are many reasons why couples may be considering a pre or post nuptial agreement, which  provide for outcomes in the event of divorce or death and  are intended to  prevent costly and emotionally draining litigation in future years.

We are happy to act for either party and can draft a bespoke document or advise on an existing draft. Most importantly, we understand that this can be a sensitive time for couples and we work constructively and objectively to ensure matters are resolved swiftly and fairly.
