Initial Public Offering – Main Market
Advised Liberum Capital Ltd (as sponsor, financial adviser and broker) on the admission of Capital Drilling Limited to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the Main Market with a $40 million placing.
Demerger and AIM admission
Advised Leyshon Resources on the demerger and admission to AIM of Leyshon Energy Limited, whose wholly owned subsidiary, Pacific Asia Petroleum, is the operator of the Zijinshan Gas Project, a joint venture with China National Petroleum Corporation.
Court of appeal decision – UK onshore planning
Advised AIM-listed Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc on a range of matters including on its successful court of appeal decision in relation to the drilling of an exploratory well at its Holmwood prospect in the Weald Basin, Surrey.
Advised Peppercoast Petroleum plc on the $85 million sale of its 100% interest in the production sharing contract for offshore Liberian oil assets to Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited.
Advised the controlling shareholders of Heritage Oil plc, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, on the £924 million bid by Energy Investments Global Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Al Mirqab Capital SPC.
Advised a state owned oil and gas company in connection with the Eastern Caribbean Gas Pipeline Project for the construction of a pipeline to supply gas from Trinidad & Tobago to the islands of the Eastern Caribbean.
Operational and production sharing agreements
Advised Water Engineered Technologies on its fundraisings and operational agreements to establish the infrastructure to extract oil from oil lakes in Turkmenistan, including a production sharing agreement with the local state entity, equipment purchase and offtake agreements.
